For some reason, I am very paranoid about my height and it is definitely one of my insecurities; being 5'4 at the age of 17 isn't great as for example last weekend when my boyfriend took me to the cinema (to see a 15), I got asked what my age was. Although height isn't really that much of an issue to everyone, it seems to really bug me when all my friends are towering over me, however they complain just as much about being tall! I'm aware that YouTubes such as FleurDeForce, Tanya Burr & Zoella are also around the same height as me, along with celebrities such as Mila Kunis and Kim Kardashian..this gives me some hope & confidence!

I go to a sixth form in which the uniform/dress code rules are not very strict, therefore I tend to get away with wearing my 4.5 inch heeled cut-out boots to school, although rather uncomfortable after walking from class to class in them for 6 hours everyday. Summer is coming up however and I am wondering what I am going to do in that season for school; however I've seen creepers & loafers are making a come back, and hopefully will stay in trend for Summer 2014, or else I'll be trend setting.

I'm not a big buyer on shoes, however recently I've found myself spending hours upon end on ASOS, Topshop, River Island and Zara admiring all their beautiful shoes & boots and I'm going to share some of my favourite finds with you. DISCLAIMER :: I am not a vampire nor goth however my obsession for 'playing it safe' and always tending to buy everything in black you may notice in the upcoming items.

ASOS STARSHIP Heeled Loafers £40.00

Although not my usual taste, how beautiful are these? I am absolutely loving ASOS right now, maybe it's the free delivery or the amazing sale on currently that's tempting me, but either way it seems to be the first site I look for clothes on now. At £40.00 these really are a bargain, as a dupe in TopShop would probably cost around £30 more! I'm also into chains a lot this season so the pretty gold chain across the front of the shoe completes them for me. As soon as I get some more money in my bank these WILL be the first thing I buy.

TOPSHOP Ankle Boots £45.00

Anyone who knows me will have seen me in these pretty much everyday for the past year, my beautiful TopShop ankle boots (I can't remember the name as they aren't on the site anymore). I bought these for £45 around this time last year and I can honestly say they have served me well and are still in good use. However, they do get dirty easily and are hard to get back to the same colour once mucky so make sure if you have these or can find them anywhere to buy that you have the right shoe cleaner !

Shellys London Maska Black Tassle Loafers £70.00 reduced to £49.00

Yieeeeek the price! I just couldn't resist putting these on this blog post; if only these shoes could be mine. I found these on ASOS in the sale, and luckily they're in my size...however much  too expensive for me to be able to justify. The height of these loafers are just right, and I love how they're shiny and not matte/leather as it is definitely the material I prefer on a pair of shoes like these. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to find a cheaper dupe of these in Next or maybe even Primark?! Hopefully.

Ladies Womens Cutout Boots etc- Ebay £9.99

I have recently purchased these 4.5 inch ankle cutout boots from Ebay for ONLY £9.99. I won't lie to you, if I hadn't been recommended these by many friends who have bought from the same company I would not have bought these, just as the price seems too good to be true for what would seem to be good quality boots. The brand have so much range from flats to chunky heels and croc textures and all for under £19.99, what also delighted me was how fast the shoes came as I paid for 3 day delivery and the boots came the very next day! The boots are comfy however quite hard to walk in if you wear them for 6 hours everyday (like me).

Women's Creepers £16.99 -Ebay

Ebay, yet again; what annoys me is when people turn down their nose at Ebay, if you know how to use it correctly you can find some great stuff. These creepers are cheap at only £16.99 however I think it's just the right price to pay for a pair, I definitely would not be paying anymore than £20. I think these shoes will serve me well in Summer and give me that extra little bit of height! I think these go well with a pair of TopShop's Joni Jeans and a simple jersey top just to give that casual look.
